OUR MINISTRIES

Women Alive

Women Alive is a small-group mission organization that emphasizes God's command to help those in need.  During the meetings ladies learn about missionaries and the ministries that are being supported by the Southern Baptist Convention.  Women Alive demonstrates the love of God by participating in mission projects that aid local, national and international causes. The meetings are informal and includes a time for food and fellowship.  The group is open to any lady who has a heart for helping those in need.  Please join us in this important calling!

Golden Circle

Golden Circle is a groups existing to provide a once-a-month gathering for senior citizens of our church. Theses times of fellowship often include eating lunch together and exploring interesting places. We usually meet on the third Thursday of each month.

Women on Mission

The women on mission isa WMU ministry organization for adult women that meets (usually) on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm. This group strives to focus on some aspects of missions such as; missions awareness, ministry, witnessing, praying and missions focused Bible study. Leading the church in special times of mission emphasis is also an important part of helping in missions invovement.

Jail Ministry

The Jail ministry is formed by a compasionate group of church members who share the word of God with both male and female immates at the Taylor County Detention Center located downtown Campbellsville. The group visits twice a month and the schedule is regularly posted at the church bulletin. If you'd like to join them contact Jimmy and Regina Graham.

Youth

We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again; that no matter how high you are in morality, no matter if you have been baptized or recognized by any other culture or ordinance however applied can help the sinner get to heaven. Our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that, as members of the body of Christ, this is our sole mission while on this earth: to spread this message to the entire world. Our group will never shy away from talking about ALL of the many modern day obstacles that the devil has thrown to our youth today, no matter the subject. Then along the way we know that teens need to be teens so we also have a lot of fun along the way while learning how what Christ did in His life directly applies to us in the modern day.

Music Ministry

Our purpose in the music ministry is to glorify God, to lift His name up on high and to proclaim Jesus' love and message through music and worship. Our blended services aim to provide the congregation with an all rounded worship experience, using scripture centered hymns and contemporary praise songs to lead the faithful into a meaningful and inspiring worship experience. Our adult and children's choir as well as our praise team  are always open to new members, if you feel the calling to share your gifts and talents, blessing others with your music, join us!

Children's Ministry

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

At Pleasant Hill we share a deep passion to teach children the way of the cross. We are fully aware of the importance of the children's ministry not only to kids, but to parents and to the congregation as a whole. We see it as a priority and we are committed to invest our time and resources to create and nurture in our children, the desire to follow the Lord. Our volunteers understand the blessing and the responsibility of leading our kids into getting to know Jesus. We use bible based sermons, children driven planned worship and fun activities to expose them to the gospel.
